Our Services

Industrial Inspection Services

At GMI INSPECTIONS, we believe that quality is not a one-time checkpoint, but a continuous discipline that should be embedded throughout the entire production lifecycle.
In today’s complex and competitive manufacturing environment, relying solely on final product inspections is no longer sufficient. True quality assurance begins at the source with raw materials and must be maintained consistently through each stage of the production process, right up to shipment.

We offer independent, impartial, and systematic inspection services designed to support our clients in maintaining the highest quality standards. Our team of experienced and certified inspectors operate in accordance with international standards such as EN, ISO, and ASME. We conduct thorough inspections before production begins, during the manufacturing process, and before final deliveryensuring full visibility and traceability.

To ensure reliability and precision, we use calibrated measuring tools, customized inspection and test plans (ITPs), and modern digital reporting systems tailored to each project’s unique specifications.

Our inspection coverage includes:
✔️ Dimensional and tolerance checks using manual tools and advanced 3D measurement systems
✔️ Material certification and compliance verification against applicable standards
✔️ Visual inspections for welding and assembly quality
✔️ Conformity checks based on technical drawings and client-specific criteria
✔️ Review of certificates and quality documentation
✔️ Pre shipment inspections covering marking, packaging, labeling, and delivery conditions

At GMI INSPECTIONS, our mission goes beyond paperwork we take quality directly to the field.
We actively monitor critical stages of production, compare measurement data with technical requirements in real-time, and detect deviations on the spot. This allows for immediate feedback and corrective actions, helping to avoid delays, non conformities, or costly rework.

Thanks to our cloud-based reporting infrastructure, our clients benefit from full transparency: all inspection activities are documented and accessible online. Every inspection point, measurement result, and document can be reviewed at any time supporting decision making and long-term traceability.

In short, we don’t just control quality,
We make it measurable, visible, and accountable.
With GMI INSPECTIONS, your project is always in safe hands from the first weld to the final shipment.

❓ Why Independent Inspection Matters

🔍 Unbiased & Objective Evaluation
Third-party inspectors operate independently from the manufacturer, ensuring neutral and impartial assessments without any conflict of interest.

🛠️ Early Detection of Non-Conformities
Potential deviations are identified during production—not after. This allows for immediate corrective actions, reducing delays and preventing costly rework.

🤝 Enhanced Client Confidence
Engaging an independent inspection partner demonstrates a strong commitment to quality and transparency, strengthening trust with end clients.

📂 Full Documentation & Traceability
All inspection results are digitally recorded and archived. This guarantees traceability and allows retrospective reviews of every production step.

🚛 Shipment Readiness Verification
Before dispatch, product conformity, labeling, packaging, and documentation are thoroughly reviewed to ensure compliance with client specifications.

🌍 Remote Oversight of Overseas Production
For international buyers outsourcing to Turkey, independent inspection ensures full control over production quality—without the need for physical presence.

💰 Reduced Risk & Lower Total Cost
By minimizing errors, delays, and quality-related disputes, independent inspections contribute directly to reducing operational risks and unexpected costs.

⚖️ Contractual & Technical Compliance
Inspection activities are aligned with project specifications, ITPs, and contractual requirements, safeguarding all stakeholders’ interests.

Welding & Welded Fabrication Inspections

In welded fabrication processes, quality must be ensured not only in the final product, but at every step from initial joint preparation to final weld repair.

At GMI INSPECTIONS, we oversee all on-site welding operations to verify compliance with technical requirements, procedural standards, and welder qualifications.

Our scope extends far beyond visual checks. Each inspection includes comprehensive verification of WPS/PQR documentation, WPQR certifications, consumable traceability, and non-destructive testing (PT, MT, UT, RT).

Our welding inspection scope includes:
✔️ Review of WPS & PQR documentation
✔️ Verification of welder qualifications (WPQR)
✔️ Visual weld inspection (VT)
✔️ Monitoring of non-destructive tests (PT, MT, UT, etc.)
✔️ Control of welding sequence, heat input, and preheat
✔️ Supervision of weld repairs and re-testing processes

We don’t just certify weld quality on paper we prove it in the field.
During on-site inspections, welding parameters (voltage, amperage, travel speed) are monitored and compared against WPS values to confirm process compliance.
Preheat and interpass temperatures are measured using thermal cameras, while surface cleanliness and evaporation effects are also evaluated as part of our thorough control process.

All welding activities are inspected in three stages:
1️⃣ Pre-weld preparation
2️⃣ In-process monitoring
3️⃣ Post-weld analysis

This holistic approach helps us identify not only existing non-conformities, but also prevent potential structural risks before they occur.

We don’t just look at the weld , we read it.

High-quality production starts with the right supplier.
At GMI INSPECTIONS, we help you identify, evaluate, and continuously monitor suppliers in Turkey on your behalf.
Our assessments go beyond initial audits , we observe real behaviors, production habits, and problem-solving capabilities directly on the shop floor and report them with full transparency.

Whether you are selecting a supplier for the first time or wish to evaluate an existing one before collaboration, our technical expertise is with you at every stage of the sourcing process.

Our supplier audit scope includes:
✔️ Supplier sourcing and initial screening
✔️ On-site factory audits and infrastructure analysis
✔️ Quality management systems and compliance verification
✔️ Production capacity and technical capability evaluation

Our audits are not limited to documents or systems. We conduct direct observations on the production line, analyzing operator performance, workflow discipline, and corrective action procedures.

To ensure long-term supplier reliability, we carry out periodic follow-up visits, provide quality scoring, and offer improvement recommendations.
This enables you to reduce uncertainties in your supply chain and evaluate your business partners based on verified data not assumptions.

GMI INSPECTIONS is more than a watchdog, we are an active quality partner who helps manage your supplier base with precision.

Painting & Coating Inspection

In steel structures, proper surface protection is essential not only for aesthetics but for long term durability.
At GMI INSPECTIONS, we conduct inspections of surface treatment processes such as liquid coating, powder coating, galvanizing, and abrasive blasting in accordance with international standards like ISO 12944 and SSPC.

Our inspections begin at surface preparation (cleanliness, roughness, anchor profile) and extend to film thickness measurements, adhesion testing, and defect identification.
Our goal is not only visual appeal but technical quality that ensures lasting protection.

Our coating inspection scope includes:
✔️ Surface preparation checks (cleanliness level, blast profile)
✔️ Dry and wet film thickness measurements
✔️ Visual coating inspection (cracks, blisters, surface defects)
✔️ Specific tests based on coating type (zinc thickness, adhesion test, holiday test)
✔️ Monitoring of environmental conditions (dew point, humidity, surface temperature)
✔️ Post-galvanizing zinc thickness measurement (according to ISO 1461)
✔️ Evaluation of galvanized surface integrity: adhesion, peeling, flaking
✔️ Pre-treatment control before hot-dip galvanizing (surface cleaning, bath temperature & process monitoring)

This isn’t just paint, it’s your protection layer. And we inspect whether it’s doing its job.

For each application, ambient conditions such as dew point, humidity, and surface temperature are measured to ensure environmental suitability. Surface cleanliness is assessed against industry benchmarks like Sa 2½ to ensure proper adhesion.

We also verify coating technical data sheets and manufacturer certificates, and if required, we perform on-site testing such as pull-off adhesion, holiday detection, and other specification based methods.

Our objective is not a coating that just “looks fine,” but one that’s technically sound, specification-compliant, and built to last.

We don’t just inspect the coating ,we verify its protective power.
